On another page I ask, "Can we prove God exists?" This time it is a lot more personal, If spirit exists we all have one. We may all have the same one. If all living entities have spirit then it may be the only spirit there is and maybe it is God. Thomas Edison believed every single cell possessed spiritual energy. He referred to it as etheric energy and please do not confuse that with etheric force.
Any one with any kind of training in physics knows the two are not the same. His theory was the more complicated a living entity was, the more etheric energy it possessed. When an entity dies, the etehric energy is returned to a source to be used again and again as energy is eternal as long as it is confined inside the universe.
It is not known if he held that belief to his death. In a few interviews he suggested he had reached a different conclusion but he never went on record saying what his conclusion was, He may have written it down, Rutgers University is trying to sort all his work out. Some day we may know what his final thoughts were as he wrote everything down, He just wasn't all that organized on how he kept it. In this regard, Edison left us in the dark.
Part of the reason behind him not continuing his research on matters etheric was he was constantly being discouraged by people he did business with, his own family, friends and even some of his muckers as he liked to call his staff. I don't think proving living entities possess spirit is going to be very difficult to do once we set our mind to it. I think Edison believed the same as I do. There is an undercurrent of massive resistance in society driven by those who have a lot to lose if the spiritual side of existence were to become the property of science. Theologians, philosophers, governments and even corporations would all face major paradigm shifts and would lose a lot of control they have now should spirit leave the world of faith and become reality.
As proof of what I say consider the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) we have built in a mountain in Cern Switzerland. Astronomical amounts of money were spent building it, There are many doorways to be opened with this tool but the most significant is the recent discovery of a potential new boson. This surpasses fire and nuclear power by magnitudes on the effect it may have on our species. Those with little or no training in the field of science are not aware of the implications, unlocking bosons will have. Someday we will be able to convert energy to mass. We are getting pretty good at converting mass to energy but we don't have a clue when it comes to the opposite path. If you believe in God that is what God is supposed to do is convert energy to mass.
We become wizards. We turn the dials, pull a lever or two, there is flash and where nothing appeared to be you see a carrot. A little adjustment, pull the levers and this time there is a much bigger flash and you have a million carrots. Change the settings, adjust the power and "pow", one million porterhouse steaks and not one animal died in the process. The baked potatoes are next.
Can anyone tell me why we do not spend significantly less money researching if we or any living entity has a spirit? I offer there are just as many clues pointing to our having a spirit as there are to the existence of a boson. Maybe even more. Even better we don't have go the extremes we do to generate a boson. If they exist, every human being on this planet has one. We don't have to create them. All we have to do is look for them.
If we prove spirit doesn't exist those in power lose their ability to sell fiction as fact. There is a lot of money to be made and power to be had by answering questions with deceit and fabrication. The turmoils of life make all of us willing recipients. They can kiss their hold over us goodbye. If we prove spirit exists, the result is the same. No one will buy into their product anymore. It is a lose lose proposition. Therefore every step is taken. to see it doesn't happen. Scientists who suggest serious research are ridiculed and denied research funds. Society tosses them in the discard pile along with all the new age followers who sense a change but don't have the knowledge or money to research it.
In the case of the boson, just the opposite is true. Someone has to make the machines. Someone has to run the machines and make the carrots, steak and potatoes. They then have to be disbursed so everyone can enjoy the meal. That all represents power and wealth and that is why we spend astronomical amounts of money on the research. Scientists are pawns and our curiosity, knowledge and intuition make us all willing players. Wernher von Braun, Oppenheimer and Einstein wee brilliant men, geniuses but they were all pawns.
Scientists lost their anonymity ironically due to the efforts of scientists who still had it with Thomas Edison being one of the worst. No one more than him proved there was money to be made with science and some of his not so publicized works expressed regret his work had led to so much greed being released on the world. He could take solace in the fact that all that he invented improved the plight of humankind though sometimes at overly exaggerated profits.
I defy anyone to contradict the above argument. There is not one valid reason for not pursuing this research. The money is there. the skills are there. We have enough clues to work with and there has been some research already done though it has been sorely under funded. The opportunity is here. The benefit to society would be immense. Those with little have everything to gain. Those who have taken opportunity of those of us who have little have the most to lose. The Jen has been let out of the bottle. Communications today enables all of us to pursue this research in spite of the reluctance by those who have the most to lose. All it takes is getting organized.
Now that I have everyone excited it is only fair I lay down some of the places we could start looking. Evolution has always intrigued us and it has faced much of the same dogma the research regarding all things spiritual has. The difference is evolution does not threaten the system and the study of it does benefit medical science for certain and we can bio engineer with mixed results to be sure. Those who profit see potential money here. So research continues. If we have spirit, our spirit is also evolving. It would have to. Human spirit could not exist as human spirit until humans did. This is a good area to look for commonality.
The best places to look is where there are no easily identifiable answers. we have one huge such area residing inside our skull, our brain. The other is our DNA. Two very interesting things happened on our way to becoming homo sapiens, one we lost a chromosome while gaining gene pairs and the second we developed a single brain with two hemispheres, two distinct hemispheres.
That invokes a third area to research. Do other species on this planet have two distinct hemispheres? We can't know that unless we can determine other species have conscious thought. Some say they do, Some say they don't. We need to figure that out. While those that prefer working with animals are busy doing their research others, who identify more closely with their fellow species, need to take a serious look at why we have two distinct hemispheres. We have spent a lot of time and money determining they are different. Not so much on why they are different. Evolution is at a loss to explain why. Using evolution as model one can make a huge case for having two identical hemispheres. Two eyes, two ears, two kidneys, dual nervous systems etc. Beings with a lot of redundancy built in survive better. A brain with two distinct hemispheres contradicts evolution.
The brain is capable of transferring some skills from one side to the other in cases of trauma but that ability has remained constant for centuries. When it comes to our conscious mind, Freud split that into ego and id. Quantifying ego is as easy as counting how many shoes one has in the closet so nothing special there but id is another matter. Obviously it hasn't been too popular. When was the last time you heard someone say,"Damn he has a big id!" Today we say people have a tendency to be either right brained or left brained and there has been a lot of research to back that up. Once again I remind you, we should not be that way according to evolution. Beings that put all their capacities in one sock don't normally survive and here we are the dominant species.
Now it gets even a little more weird. Freuds ego seems to have a home, the left brain. The id to this day remains homeless. There is more evidence introduced everyday that is adding more and more creditability to this observation. Now I have to ask this question, "Who the hell is living in the right brain?" I think you know where I am going with this. If something is living in the left side it makes sense it has a next door neighbor which could be our spirit. Why not? Consider this, we are talking conscious thought. What is conscious thought? It's energy. If a spirit exists, what is it? It's energy.
Is there one person out there who can look me in the eye and say we should not waste our time researching this?
Because of a surgical procedure I had done I can see energy. Someone who does not have my training might be a little frightened. There is no pain or disability as a result unless I drive into the back of someone while I am observing it. I see it in low light conditions like driving at night and the early evening and almost anytime I close my eyes if there is any light source around. Notice to the highway patrol, I do not close my eyes while driving during the day. I don't have to at night but I have to keep from focusing on the phenomena I am witnessing.
Since I am trained in optics and imaging I have experimented on myself and, to ensure there is no medical condition that might be life threatening, I have been thoroughly checked out though I cannot have an MRI because I have a pacemaker as a result of a long fall and the associated stop at the bottom. I have had an interesting life. The doctors all tell me they have no explanation and to make sure I don't make any more appointments. Maybe when I get the pacemaker replaced I will get the MRI. We shall see.
I have offered myself up for experiments to research facilities. Apparently they have all talked to my Doctors. If I ever have the money I will do the research myself because what I see is not a product of my mind. Even the doctors agree. They have witnessed my experiments and tested me. They don't want to touch it with a ten foot pole, If you are a Christian would you? Like I said, no one wants to know.
If what I see is spiritual energy I know the frequency and I know when there is a lot of it present and where there isn't. I know it is attracted and affected by EMF and not affected by gravity. I know it is attracted to living entities. Some of you driving around at night don't want to know. I think I know how I can see it and how it presents itself. I seem to gain intuitive thought as a result of it
Some of that intuition involved our DNA, I write about on the first page of this blog, we stopped being apes when our chromosomes dropped from 24 to 23, There is no known reason for that happening. Mutation is almost out of the question. Adaptation isn't a factor. Apes with 24 were having a merry old time and life was good. They still are living the same life when we leave them alone. Many think we got the short end of the stick especially those who deal with primates.
I think there is more to life than eating bananas and the body lice off each other but to each his own. We sure as hell need to study them and determine if they have conscious thought and if they do they need the same protections under the law as we have which basically is to live their lives as chimpanzees in an environment we can help preserve for them. That applies to all species who have conscious thought and, if we are currently eating them, we need to stop. Ignorance is no excuse. I will really miss my bacon in the morning but that is just the way it is.
My intuitive thoughts have told me we are going through another major restructuring of the human genome. I am no geneticist so I have no idea what I am talking about. I know enough to be dangerous but the thoughts I get are Chromosome 21 is merging with Chromosome 22 either to make room for a new 22 or form a new super chromosome. Like I said I am no geneticist. I do know the last time this happened it was in the lower level chromosomes where the genes are not as complicated
There is more I can suggest but hopefully the above is enough to inspire enough curiosity to pursue what I have presented because all of us have a lot to gain from understanding what the reality is. Should this life be all that we have, we will probably do a better job of taking care of our own and others. Should there be more, we can go on to discover all the new paths that will be opened up to us
One of those will be proving whether God exists. I happen to believe God is a force that only affects living entities. Like all forces, the affect will be constant and we will never understand why there are forces other than they make things happen under the laws established by physics. You want commandments look to the forces that exist in the universe. If God exists, God is one of them. To see the affect we first have to see the energy being affected by the force. It's all right there in your physics book.
